FLY FISHING & TROUT FISHING

Whilst in Victoria’s premier trout precinct, enjoy some trout fishing in one of our beautiful ponds, wild rivers or at Lake Eildon. You can also take a short stroll across our garden to the stocked trout pond.

The local Marysville 18 hole golf course is a picturesque and challenging course only two minutes
away. Equipment and buggies are available for hire.

NIGHT WALKS

Let an experienced local guide take you for an educational and fun stroll under the stars at a fantastic location close to Marylands. On these spotlight walks you can discover the sights and sounds of the Aussie bush and encounter some of the animals the make our area their home.

4WD SAFARIS

This tour departs Marylands & incorporates the local forests, national parks, rivers, mountain ranges and local history. Tours are conducted in 4WD vehicles with a professional local guide.

ORIENTEERING

Urban challenge - group into small teams and be challenged by a creative program that takes you on a journey around the local village and local forests. The Echo challenge is a problem- solving course that provokes lateral thinking and promotes team building.

BALLOONING

Let the breeze usher you along the corridors of grape vines and over the Yarra River as you take in the breathtaking views of mountains that surround the valley. Hot Air Ballooning is an incredible adventure, so be prepared!

CHALLENGE LASER SKIRMISH

The modern day answer to paint ball, using high technology laser ammunition, which is safer. 2-4 hours duration and all equipment is provided

ROCK CLIMBING

A challenging activity, test your team's limits and reach the peak of success- all in an afternoons exercise. All safety equipment supplied, safety briefings and qualified guides.

HORSE RIDING

Enjoy a scenic horse ride amongst the Rubicon Valley & the foothills of the Cathedral Ranges National Park. Stunning views & a great way to explore the area.

RIVER RAFTING THE UPPER GOULBURN RIVER

Within 45 minutes of leaving Marylands, you will be rafting down the National Rough Water course on the Upper Goulburn River with your colleagues. A great team building exercise and a lot of fun! 3 hours in duration. If you have an additional hour, disembark, have lunch and enjoy wine tasting and the views at Snobs Creek Vineyard.

BRUNO’S ART & SCULPTURES GARDEN

A paradise for art and garden lovers. Beyond the gallery, Bruno has connected art with the natural ambience of the beautiful Marysville bush land. Open Everyday 10-5 pm.

LAKE MOUNTAIN

Only 25 minutes away, Lake Mountain is one of our premier cross-country ski resorts with magnificent lookouts and alpine walks and activities. A beautiful place to visit, both summer and winter. A great place to enjoy Thai Chi and breakfast one morning.

STEAVENSONS FALLS

Enjoy one of Victoria’s largest picturesque cascading waterfalls, which is floodlit at night.. You may also like to take the opportunity to enjoy pre-dinner drinks in this picturesque setting.

FOREST STROLL & BUSH WALKING

Wander into the State forest behind Marylands for a nature walk to explore ancient forests, native flora and fauna with our accredited walking guide. A great way to add some fresh air and exercise to your day.

WINERIES

Take an afternoon or day trip to one or many of the local wineries in the region. We can provide tours or point you in the right direction. Nearby wineries and vineyards include: Snobs creek, Coldstream Hills and De Bortoli.
